The Healing Eyes of Mercy. A Journey Towards the Light of God’s Love.

Chapter One: The Healing Eyes of Mercy.

Spiritual Theme: The Healing Impact of God’s Mercy!

I can’t believe it. I actually finished my book manuscript entitled, The Healing Eyes of Mercy. A Journey Towards the Light of God’s Love. At this point, I simply ask for your prayers as I attempt to spread the good news of God’s loving embrace available to all soul’s created in His likeness. I wrote this story down, after receiving His direct prompting. At the heart of this story is the eternal love and patience of the Heavenly Father, His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, and His Holy Spirit, who tirelessly wooed my restless soul back towards His merciful embrace! This story is about a family of three, a father, mother and child, destined to be together, despite, their efforts to the contrary. One prideful, one distracted and one wounded, all three on a mysterious journey towards the healing embrace of God’s love. They are you, they are me and they are the world today, each living in the shadows of darkness, each in need of God’s mercy. Please stay tuned for more details about my book. I appreciate any and all of your prayers and personal efforts to spread the news of its upcoming publication!

John 10:9-10. “I am the gate. Whoever enters through me will be safe. He will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and slaughter and destroy. I came that they might have life and have it to the full.”

“Virtual” Pilgrimage Location: The Mount of the Beatitudes.

The Church of the Beatitudes.

The traditional location for the Mount of the Beatitudes is on the northwestern shore of the Sea of Galilee. The Roman Catholic, Church of the Beatitudes, was built in 1938 on the traditional site where Jesus is thought to have delivered His Sermon on the Mount. It sits near the ruins of a small Byzantine era church, dating to the late 4th century, where pilgrims began to commemorate this most holy of locations. Both Popes Paul VI and Saint John Paul II celebrated Mass at this church during their pastoral visits to the Holy Land. It is here where Our Savior, Jesus Christ, is thought to have climbed and spoken the Eight Beatitudes, which reveals a way of life that promises eternity in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Gospel of Matthew 5:3-10

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.

Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.

Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.

Closing Prayer: Lord, give me the faith to see through Your Eyes and the courage to walk towards the Light of Your Love! Amen
